Keep customer context attached to the work
MSP firewall operations span many organizations, addresses, maintenance windows, and reporting expectations. FWMS records customer ownership with enrolled devices and provides a fleet overview that leads into each appliance's management workspace.
Staff can manage the wider fleet, while provisioned customer access is limited to selected devices. User invitations, account maintenance, and Duo authentication help bring access management into the same operation.
Reduce repeated configuration work
Engineers can work with supported firewall rules, NAT, VPN, aliases, interfaces, services, and packages through the portal. Device-defined alias suggestions keep familiar configuration names available during changes.
Capture configurations as named templates and map interfaces for new deployments. Templates support a consistent starting point while preserving the need to review each customer's addressing, routing, hardware, and connectivity requirements.
Notice both outages and missing visibility
An online appliance can still stop sending logs. FWMS monitors device reachability and log-flow health, surfaces findings in the fleet view, and supports administrator notifications. Return-to-service messages include the offline and online timing so engineers can understand the interruption.
Use the available findings to prioritize follow-up rather than treating every device as an isolated browser session.
Turn collected evidence into customer conversations
Encrypted log collection and ELK investigations let engineers search traffic by time and network addresses. Security dashboards provide a view of blocked activity and sensor findings where the appliance supplies the relevant events.
Scheduled executive summaries focus on the selected customer device and reporting window. Company branding and recipient configuration help teams deliver an operational report with the appropriate customer context.
Run the platform on infrastructure you control
FWMS is a self-hosted deployment for Ubuntu. Plan CPU, memory, and log storage for your fleet size and event volume, and configure the system URL, certificates, email relay, branding, and user access for your organization.
Subscriptions license the number of devices registered to an installation. Review the device allowance and pricing, then validate the complete workflow on a lab appliance before rolling it into customer operations.
